Sonipat: Man live-streamed his suicide video on Facebook; probe ordered



Sonipat: A 32-year-old man from Sonipat allegedly committed suicide and live-streamed it on Facebook on Saturday. He did so reportedly after getting death threats from his neighbour and some of the Delhi Police officials.
As per the cops, Deepak hanged himself and penned down that a married woman( his neighbour), her alleged lover had threatened to kill him after he made it clear about the affair. As per The New Indian Express, the sources claim that Deepak was being harassed for the past six months but did not have the guts to approach the police.
Ashwin Shenvi, SP Sonipat, said before he took the extreme step, he wrote the reason on the wall of his room. Ashwin said,” Deepak wrote he was facing death threats from a married woman who was his neighbour and her alleged lover after Deepak had informed her husband about this relationship. He also wrote that woman was an ASI and her lover an inspector.” Further highlighting about the woman, Ashwin stated that the woman and her lover is with the Delhi police while her husband is with the Haryana police.
The family of the deceased has filed a complaint with the police on charges of encouraging the suicide. Both, the woman and her lover have turned off their cell phones and cops are hunting for them. Before ending his life, Deepak made a phone call to his sister and asked her to take care of the family.
