Muzaffarnagar: The Uttar Pradesh police officials investigating the gangrape case of two minor sisters in Muzaffarnagar have arrested two accused involved in the crime. The two minor girls were allegedly gangraped by a group of young men in the Mansurpur area in Muzaffarnagar. The incident took place in Nawala village of Muzaffarnagar where a ration dealer’s son, along with his friends, raped two minor sisters living in the vicinity.
The horrific rape took place when the two sisters went to the ration shop to buy grocery and according to reports, a boy named Rahul took the girls to a secluded place at gunpoint and along with his friends, after which they were raped.
The victims were left unconscious at the spot for the whole night. The next day, the two victims somehow reached their home and informed that their parents about the entire crime. The survivors along with the parents visited the nearby police station and lodged a FIR.
Two days laters the accused, Rahul along with his four friends Sachin, Rajan, Ankit and Rohit, were arrested by the police two days later and today two more accused involved in the case.
The victim’s father while speaking to said, “We want justice to be delivered as soon as possible. I come from a poor family background, whereas the accused involved in the rape belong from a strong background”. He had also alleged that his strong background factor has influenced the police as they have not taken any strong action against the accused. The father also accused that the accused were arrested under Section 307 in the Indian Penal Code (IPC), but now he is out on bail.
Meanwhile, the medical examination reports of the two victims are awaited. On the other side, Muzaffarnagar Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rajesh Kumar said, “After receiving medical reports of the victims, we will take appropriate action against the accused.”
